Friends of the Library

About

The Friends of the Tyler Public Library is a 501(c)(3) all‑volunteer organization dedicated to empowering a vibrant community by supporting the Library as a place to read, work, learn, create, and gather. The Friends group provides funds for programs and a range of service enhancements:

  • 3D Printer Supplies
  • Beanstack Reading Program Software
  • Copier Services
  • Local History Room Support
  • Outreach Supplies
  • Programs and Events for All Ages
  • Speakers and Performers
  • Toys for the Playroom and Storytime

Membership and Donations

Annual membership cost is $30 per individual and $100 per business. Members support ongoing Library programs and enhanced services. Friends members will receive first news of any Friends events throughout the year, receive a discount code for special events, and get early access to the Library's bi-annual book sale!

Donations can be made online or by check. Checks should be made payable to "Friends of the Tyler Public Library," and the memo line should read "Friends of the Tyler Public Library." Please mail your check to:
