Placing a Hold
If an item you want is already checked out, you can place a hold for it, and we'll save it for you when it comes in. Once a hold becomes available, we'll contact you and hold it at the Library for pickup for six days.
You can place an item on hold by calling us at (903) 593-7323 or through our online catalog. When you find an item you're interested in, open its record and click the "Place Hold" link. You will be prompted for your User ID and PIN. Your User ID is the 14-digit number found on the back of your Library card. The PIN is "changeme", unless you have previously logged in and changed your PIN.
Picking Up a Hold
Once you are notified that your hold is available, you can pick it up within six days. Holds are available for patrons to pick up between the two self-checkout machines across from the desks.
