Computer Lab

About

The Tyler Public Library has 24 public access computers located on the third floor. You can use a computer if you have a Library card in good standing or by getting a guest pass with your current ID and $1. Computer sessions are up to 3 hours long and limited to one per patron per day. The Computer Lab closes 30 minutes before the Library closes each day.

Available Resources and Services

  • Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Print in Black-and-white for 25 cents.  
  • A 15-minute quick-print station is available for quick in-and-out service.
  • Quick print services by phone through our dedicated email, no computer needed.
  • Borrow headphones.
  • Purchase earbuds for $2.
  • Purchase flash drives for saving documents for $5.

Computer Lab staff may assist you with the basic steps of any of the following:

  • Resume building
  • Job application help
  • Acquiring your first email address
  • Filling out forms online
  • Help with printing documents
