Rent Taylor Auditorium

The Taylor Auditorium at the Tyler Public Library is available for rent when not used for Library purposes or official City business.

Before completing the reservation form, please review the Taylor Auditorium Policy (starting on Page 59 of our Policies) and the fees associated with booking.
The auditorium will be booked for qualified programs on a first-come, first-served basis, at least 2 weeks but no more than 8 weeks in advance.

Taylor Auditorium Occupancy:
  • 228 people (standing room only)
  • 162 people (chair seating only)
  • 76 people (tables and chairs)

Taylor Auditorium Rental Fees (2-hour minimum. Includes tables, chairs, utilization of audio equipment, and access to kitchenette):
  • Regular Rate - $100 per hour ($200 minimum)
  • Non-Profit Rate - $50 per hour ($100 minimum)

Submitting this form does not guarantee the use of the room. Once submitted, your request will be reviewed by a member of the Library team, who will contact you to confirm your request or provide alternative options. After confirmation, payment for the booking can be made in person at the Library.
