Dungeons and Dragons Club | Tuesday, Aug. 4 & Aug. 18 at 5 p.m. | Auditorium (First Floor) For Grades 8-12: tweens and teens can sign up for an epic adventure and embark on a quest for an active imagination at TylerLibrary.org. The club meets on the first and third Tuesdays of each month.
Makerspace Activity | Available during Library operating hours | Rover Cart (First Floor) Each month, our Rover Cart features a STEAM-oriented activity for kids to do at the Library. August will feature a back-to-school fish craft.
Adult Activities Try-It Tuesday | Tuesday, Aug. 25 at 5:30 p.m. | Makerspace (Third Floor) Beading 101 will be the theme of Try-It Tuesday on Aug. 25. Registration is available on the Library’s website.
Club Read | Tuesday, Aug. 25 at 10 a.m. | Makerspace (Third Floor) The August book is the Southern Gothic “King of Ashes” by S. A. Cosby. Read and share your thoughts with us. The club regularly meets on the last Tuesday of the month.
Chapters and Choices Book Club | Saturday, Aug. 29 at 11 a.m. | Makerspace (Third Floor) The theme for August is “A Book With A Recipe.” The club meets on the last Saturday of the month.
Horror Book Club | Monday, Aug. 3 at 5:30 p.m. | Makerspace (Third Floor) August’s discussion will be on “The Eyes Are the Best Part” by Monika Kim.
Wildflower Poetry Society | Thursday, Aug. 13 at 2 p.m. | Makerspace (Third Floor) For Adults: Share and connect with fellow poets.
Stitch Craft Society | Wednesday, Aug. 5 and 19 at 5:30 p.m. | Makerspace (Third Floor) Come with your needlework supplies and stitch while meeting fellow stitch craft enthusiasts! Storage is not provided; patrons will have to bring and take home their supplies. The society meets on the first and third Wednesdays of the month.
